Songs of Life

Silver Ribbon Lovers

Gliding on a silver ribbon you invaded my dreams.
Slipping past my defenses you held me at your mercy.
Spicing and enticing, we did things unspoken,
Things never mentioned in the light of day.
What feeling had I expressed, that left open the gate?
Was it a dream that we shared where our most intimate thoughts and desires were tested?
I felt your presence as if I were awake.
My passions raged leaving no sensation untouched.
So deep and so fluid, you faded with the dawn,
Leaving me to dream of a new moon rising.
